A true playlist of emotions; Good Grief is an internalized love letter from a self imposed exile whose forgotten how to love himself. Ant! Foreign was a married father before the age of 23 and before he could even get adjusted he lost it all within the same year. The loss of love effects everyone differently and Good Grief is an audio adaption of all the emotions that come with the hurt. An obsessive, impulsive and erratic project that not only shines light on the psyche of the artist, but illustrates the many ways one person can cope with the pain. I had to “die” for me to find out I wasn't “living”.

Domestic abuse whether physical or emotional should never be glorified or romanticized. This album is just a pure example of how one person chose to overcome it. Or rather succumb to it’s after effects.
